Nestled in the heart of Amalfi, Harbour Rise is a one-of-a-kind villa that has been lovingly preserved by the Casanova family for almost four centuries. This ancient Italian home will be sure to take your breath away thanks to its timeless charm that gives guests a real taste of Italy. Dating back to the early 17th century, Harbour Rise looks plucked out of a fairy-tale, overflowing with grandeur and opulence with its bright green shutters and royal orange walls. Inside is a modern contrast, stylish renovated with a fresh white walls and clean décor creating a minimalist vibe throughout. The intricate, mosaic patterned tiles adds a splash of colours to each room, with the rustic exposed brick facades providing a traditional touch. From the roomy lavish corner sofa, wideset dining table and big sleek kitchen, the living areas are expansive with enough space for up to eight guests to stretch out and unwind. Upstairs are the four bedrooms, all ensuite and queen-size with access to overhanging balcony.
Even when you’re inside, it’s impossible to ignore the incredible views on offer thanks to the large windows and doors overlooking the coastline. But when you step outside onto the pretty tiled terrace, you’re blown away by some of the most stunning views on the Amalfi Coast. Unwind in the outdoor hot tub or soak up the sunshine on a lounger overlooking the sublime blue sea, rolling green hillside and Amalfi’s charming rooftops below. Alfresco dining doesn’t get any better than this, where you can enjoy a glass of local wine and dinner whilst watching the sun set over the coastline.
If you can tear yourself away from this slice of Italian heaven, Amalfi is just a short walk away where you can soak up the bustling local atmosphere at one of the many bars, café or restaurants scattered across the piazza. For a taste of the local history, explore the beautiful cathedral and discover Apostle Saint Andrew’s famous relics. You’re not too far away from sinking your toes in golden sands, with the closest beach being just a five-minute walk away.
*Please note: There is no swimming pool at this villa, however, there is a large private hot tub.
Not included in the price and payable upon arrival:
– For arrivals after 8:00 PM will be requested an extra fee of 50,00 Euros to be paid upon arrival.
– Tourist Tax not included to be paid on site: 2,00 Euros per person per day, from 1st April until 2nd November.
Villa is set on hill above Amalfi town, to access from street level the public lift it is open from 8:00 AM to 24:00. Alternatively there are 300 stairs.
You won’t need a car to stay at Harbour Rise but if you do have one, you’ll be able to park for a fee in a nearby public car park.
