Sun loungers rest under a tropical grass parasol, there are dining spots in the shade and an open BBQ poolside. Inside whitewashed walls, honey hued ceiling beams and terracotta floor tiles add to the country house appeal. Lots of warm, wooden furniture and the use of local tiles and artefacts, give Villa Escondite a Spanish flair. You could picture a Spanish Mama cooking up a paella in the kitchen and serving it up with some local bread and oil in the dining pavilion. The three bedrooms have beamed ceilings and white walls and two are twin set ups. There are also two bathrooms for six guests to share.
The location of Villa Escondite is superb, lying between Puerto Pollensa beach and the Old Town. You can enjoy sunny cafes, golden shores and water sports galore at the beach or wander through the old town, window shop and stop off for a glass of sangria.
