Set against the breathtakingly beautiful landscape of the Costa Blanca countryside, Villa Hermosa Javea is a charming gem. Enclosed by lush Mediterranean greenery, the entire home is surrounded by bougainvillea and fragrant fruit trees. A villa stay here is all about relaxation, backed by soaring mountains in the distance. Set in Javea, you’re just a stone’s throw away from its history-swept old town lined with restaurants, cafes, and shops. Sink your toes into its two standout beaches, proudly waving their Blue Flags; the pebbly La Grava is lined by a bustling promenade, while Arenal Bay is swathed with golden sands and shallow waters. 

The vast grounds transform the outdoor space into an exotic oasis, with multiple Roman stone terraces to take in the verdant backdrop. Mornings unwinding here are a delight, served while soaking up the fresh air overlooking the scenic gardens that are lit up by atmospheric lighting. Sun seekers will be spoilt for choice when it comes to chill spots, with poolside loungers and an outdoor lounge area to relax in. The large swimming pool glistens under the sunshine, with enough space for everyone to make a splash. We recommend grilling up some fresh local goodies in the summer kitchen with a gas barbecue set, as well as a grill and a fridge. With three alfresco dining areas, our favourite is the spot under the arbour that is intertwined with vine leaves and bougainvillaea. 

A Spanish treasure, the exteriors breathe traditional charm and are overflowing with authentic character. The rustic stonework, terracotta roofs, and wooden shutters echo the vibrant architecture of an authentic finca. The inside is just as charming, with high ceilings supported by wooden beams, white stone wall facades, and vibrantly orange floor tiles. We’re in awe of the living area, decorated in a shabby-chic style with vintage sofas and boho-inspired décor. The kitchen hums a more modern tune, with glossy white cabinetry that matches the high-end appliances. Across the villa are three spacious bedrooms, alluding to a contemporary feel, ideal for a small family looking to unwind together. 

*Please note, although this is a ground-floor property, there are a number of steps leading to the entrance, around the grounds and within the villa itself. Therefore we don’t recommend this property for those less mobile.
