If you can tear yourself away from this idyllic pad the beach at Zaton has a Blue Flag rating, so you can enjoy the crystal clear waters with the whole family, paddling in the shallows or be more adventurous by taking part in the numerous water sports on offer here. Away from the beach Zaton has a rich gastronomic offering including traditional recipes and plenty of fresh fish delicacies. The historical significance of the area is found in Zaton itself, with it being a fantastic example of a typical picturesque Dalmatian village, and nearby towns, rich in cultural and historical attractions.
