Description
Located on a charming street in the picturesque fishing village of Binibeca, Villa Eva is a gem in a tranquil corner of Menorca. You’re just a short walk away from its white-splashed streets, with a maze of quaint, cobbled streets that lead to a vibrant harbour full of bobbing fishing boats. There is a wealth of restaurants and bakeries offering everything from delicious paellas and fresh seafood to fluffy cakes and jam-filled pastries. The main square is bustling during the day with gift shops and comes alive at night with local wine bars and tavernas. Overlooking a pretty sheltered cove with soft sand and gentle waves, go for a cocktail at its rustic beach bar lying on the water’s edge. It is just a twenty-minute drive to the bustling capital of Mahon, where you can absorb the busy atmosphere at a waterfront restaurant or stroll around its history-soaked streets.
The house beautifully blends in with the whitewashed architecture of the town, with bright white stucco exteriors and wooded shutters. In the living space, the bright colour palette continues, with fresh-light painted walls and plush grey sofas, mixed in with splashes of vivid blue cushions, a bold wooden dining table, all decorated with minimalism and simplicity. The kitchen is in a modern-style, made up of sleek white cabinetry and a stainless-steel double oven. The one twin bedroom and two doubles are all air-conditioned to help cool off from the Spanish heat, and can comfortably sleep up to six adults. The large glass sliding doors bring the outside in, with direct terrace access from the living and dining rooms. Step outside to be greeted by a vast white stone patio blanketed with palm trees, which fills the space with an exotic tranquillity. Afternoons at Villa Eva are something special, filled with peaceful swims in the oval-shaped pools, soaking up the sun on a lounger or tucking into lunch at the pergola-shaded dining table.
